Hope Questions for Covid-19 Season

I wrote these Hope questions at the start of the Covid-19 season for us to ask God. It is tempting to try and answer the big questions of life ourselves, but this is a time to go to His Counsel Table, look into His Appreciative Eyes, and listen to what He wants to tell us... His words are the words of life to us!


1. Ask Me how I want you to relate to me during this time? John 14:18 7 I won’t leave you comfortless, I will come to you.

2. Ask Me how to be a carrier of hope during this time. But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.! Romans 8:37 This is the victory that overcomes the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4

3. Ask Me how to multiply my resources for good in the midst of this time and. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19

4. Ask Me to show you which tables are full versus which tables are empty. In the midst of business, ask me How I can meet your daily needs during this time? But when He the Spirit of truth comes He will guide you into all truth John 16:13

5. Ask Me how I will help you have your daily needs met through my supernatural provision and the miracles I would like to supply during this time and how I would like to encourage them. And He took the loaves and the fish and after giving thanks He broke them and gave them to the disciples and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied and the disciples picked up twelve baskets full of broken pieces that were left over. Matthew 14:18

6. Ask Me how I can help you to help others and also how I am supplying for others during this time? Give to anyone who asks you…do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Luke 6:30-31

7. Ask Me how to help you not be within yourself but outside of yourself to help supply for others needs during this time in a safe way. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking only after your own interests but also the interests of others. Phil 2:3

8. Ask Me how I will help you, as proverbs says, to see danger and hide yourself. …The Spirit of Truth…will show you what to come. John 16:13 And you shall hear a word behind you saying, this is the way, walk in it… Isaiah 30:21

9. Ask Me what areas you are to hide yourself from and how I will be protecting you and give you wisdom. Ask God for wisdom and He will give it to you generously. James 1:3

10. Ask Me the areas I want you to step into the midst of family or politics. I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jer 29:11

11. Ask Me which battles are yours in society and which are not yours in society at this time. …having been forbidden by the Spirit to speak the word in Asia…and a vision appeared to Paul in the night…immediately we sought to go into Macedonia concluding that God had call us to preach the gospel to them.

12. Ask Me, what kind of actions you are to take to ensure your success in the next month, three months, six months, twelve months? In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Prov 3:6 This book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth but you shall meditate on it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it, then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8

13. Ask Me how to ensure your neighbor's success and others during this time. Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare, Jeremiah 29:7

14. Ask Me how to pray hopeful prayers during these times. If we pray in His will we know He hears us, and if we know He hears us in whatever we ask, we know we have the petitions we asked of him. 1 John 5:15

15. Ask Me how I want you to be a light of love and kindness during this time. Let your light so shine before men that they see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven. Matt 5:16

16. Ask Me how I am enough for this time of trauma? My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory Philippians 4:19

17. Ask Me if I am enough for the personal challenges that each person is going through? All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139:16

18. Ask Me how I was there for you as a society, when in the last hundred years there has been five pandemics and even your children have lived through the bird flu, the SARS pandemic, the swine flu, and the Ebola outbreak. All of those were dire, Worst case scenario predictions. Now ask how I solved those and ask if I am able to solve these as well. Praise the Lord oh my soul..who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases who redeems your life from the pit…and satisfies your desires with good things…Psalm 103:1-5

19. Ask Me how to lean on Me and not your own understanding. Now ask how I solved and if I'm able to solve these as well. I will never leave you or forsake you that you may confidently say The Lord is my helper… Hebrews 13:5

20. Ask Me how I solved a great depression, the economy restored, and then only a few years after that, a world war that lost 85 million. Then only twenty years after that, there was world war 2 after we had said there was no way we would have a war like that again because we were too advanced of a society, but I was able to raise you up from those big challenges. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law…so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us. Galatians 3:13,14

21. So let me restate that, Ask Me how in 1914, men and women thought they were too advanced of a society to have a global war but they were wrong and ask Me how I brought you forth through that and then we thought we'd never do it again, but we did it. Only 25 years later and 85 million were killed and ask Me, how I brought you forth through that and ask Me how I brought it through the Spanish flu, which killed 50 million people with much less population. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil. Psalm 23 All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me, go therefore…Matthew 28:18

22. Ask Me how I have been able to restore you and ask Me how there is a plan with kindness in store. …how often I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks Matthew 23:37

23. Ask Me what the peace is that's surrounding your nation and why people aren't looting right now. If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray I will hear form heaven and heal their land…2 Chronicles 7:14

24. Ask Me what the stories of hope are and not the stories of horror that are going on right now that I could show you. Whatever is pure, lovely, of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think on these things. Phil 4:8

25. Ask Me for Me to be one of 165 AD - the devastating epidemic that swept through the Roman empire with so many dead inside cities that they just had carts and wagons pulling the dead and how a third of the empires population died, but ask Me how I restored and helped the people and even the priests were clueless or just not involved enough, nor were the doctors ready and the heart felt compassion as demand from stoicism and the plagues were meaningless and cruel. I will dwell in the shelter of the most high and rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust…with long life He will satisfy me and show me His salvation. Psalm 91

26. Ask Me how I've advanced people up from that place, ask Me how I advanced the Greco Roman people that did not know how to evacuate towns. They were more concerned about themselves and didn't tell the other towns and the level of hopelessness and fear made looting and killing prevalent. Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ our Lord, seeing that by His Divine power has granted us to us everything pertaining to Life and godliness through the true knowledge of Him. 2 Peter 1:2-3

27. Ask Me how the earliest Christians expanded themselves and were showing mercy that simply dumbfounded the pagans and that the God that loved humanity and loved others brought people together into this place of loving Christ. Ask Me how the Christian supplied food for 1500 poor on a daily basis in just one area of Rome and Syria with the backdrop of paganism and fear and looting and killing, the Christians were feeding 3000 a day. …he who believes in Me, the works that I do and greater works than these shall he do… John 14:12

28. Ask Me how the early Christians risked their lives by offering food and water to the sick and dying. Their care was so extensive that Julian eventually tried to copy the church welfare system because it was birthed out of Christian Love, not duty. These signs will accompany those who believe, in My name they shall cast out demons, speak with tongues, not be harmed by poisons, and they will lay hands on the sick and the sick will recover. Mark 16:17

29. Ask Me how these first Christians were called the pandemic - pan which meant all people most, which meant people and then of love. They risked their own lives to save an immense number of lives. Ask Me how their elementary nursing skills with My help greatly reduced the mortality rate. And you know how God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power and He went about doing good healing all that were oppressed of the devil. Acts 10:38 And you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you…Acts 1:8 I send you as I was sent. John 20:20 And Jesus breathed on them and said, receive the Holy Spirit.

30. Ask Me how I was able to multiply a little food and water through these two or three believers there that the sick recovered instead of perishing miserably. He who believes on Me out of his inner most being shall flow rivers of living water [by the Holy Spirit]. John 7:38

31. Ask Me why the believers didn't flee the sick or the poor or the widow or the crippled or the blind or orphan. But they ran to them. Jesus call his twelve disciples to Him and gave them authority to drive out demons and to heal every disease. As you go proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom has come near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons freely you have received freely give. Matt 10:1, 8

32. Ask Me how the leader of the Roman empire said we had a colossal misunderstanding of those who were followers of the way that instead of fleeing the disease and death, they were ministering to the sick and they were low. They were admiring them and saying, "look how they loved one another," and this was heard all over the streets. None of this has escaped his notice, because this thing was not done in a corner. Acts 26:26

33. Ask Me how they fostered and how you can foster an atmosphere, not of mistrust, but trust. Not of indifference, but of love. Not of suspicion but of trust, not of violence but of love and care. Not of loneliness but of togetherness. Love neighbor as self Mark 12:31; Don’t let unwholesome words come out of your mouth, but only what is helpful for building other up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Eph 4:29

34. Ask Me how in an age of impersonal medicine and fear of death, and what appears to be an age of social isolation and mounting catastrophes, to ask for help. You are my refuge and strength, my ever-present help in times of trouble. Psalm 46:1

35. Ask Me how we, like the first church, can go beyond the precautions of quarantine into the ultimate protection of Love demonstrated with prudence, Instead of fear. God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound [self disciplined} mind. – 2 Tim :7

36. Ask Me how we can be followers of Jesus and show the world that it's in giving away our lives, that we find our lives. The key to greatness is in serving others. Matthew 20:26

37.Ask Me about how there could be an outpouring of new life and real hope instead of terror and flight. Ask Me how that could sweep the earth. Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature with signs and wonders and miracles Mark 16:15-20

38.Ask Me how the Covid-19 serves as a stark reminder that you are not in control and you won't live forever. Our life is like the grass that withers

39.But ask Me even if this turns out to be the biggest false alarm in history, that the opportunity to love will be the most vital take away from this experience.; Love never fails – God is Love, and as He is so are we in the earth. 1 Corinthians 13:8 ; 1 John 3:8,17
