God As Our Marvelous Comrade & Friend

1. Jesus, Our Marvelous Hope Comrade for Life! 
Jesus stands by His friends in Hope. He is our “Life-er Friend” 
His friendship continues for the long run!
Jesus needed Simon, a friend, to carry the cross with him. In all of His pains and perplexities, Jesus needed a friend. If the Son of God needed a friend, how much more do we need friendship? (Matthew 27:32)
Jesus: “I will never leave you or forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5)

2. Jesus, Our Marvelous Comrade who Builds; Our Building Friend!
Jesus builds through friendship. He builds friendships with those who know His Voice. (John 3:29)

3. Jesus, Our Marvelous Comrade of Love! 
Marvelous comrades do all for the sake of love! Jesus is the perfect example of a “Love Friend” (John 13) “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God”. (Hebrews 12:2) 

4. Jesus, Our Marvelous Comrade of Hope & Life! 
Hope Floats and is so alive with ‘marvelous comraderie'! Marvelous Comrades help us to soar and fly! Jesus is the perfect example of our Hope & Life Friend.

5. Jesus, Our Marvelous Comrade of Gladness & Joy Friend! 
Marvelous Comrade’s JOY in the Lord is their strength! 
Jesus: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)
Jesus anoints us with the oil of gladness (Hebrews 1:9)
Jesus has a Voice of Joy & Gladness (Jeremiah 7:34)
When we are with our friend Jesus, His Presence makes us full of gladness! (Acts 2:28)

6. Jesus, Our Marvelous Comrade of Destiny & Identity Friend
Marvelous Comrades call forth our identity and destiny!
Jesus: Come and follow Me! (Matthew 4)
“What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Rom 8:31-34)

7. Jesus, Our Marvelous Comrade of Loyalty, Faithfulness, & Belief!
Jesus is our “I’ll die for you” friend.
Marvelous Comrades will give their very lives for you! 
Jesus bowed down and washed the feet of His disciples. Then He died for His betrayers! (John 13)
God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on) We have been called into companionship and partnership with His Son” 
(1 Cor 1:9)
Jesus is the One who was riding called Faithful, Trustworthy, Loyal, Incorruptible, Steady and True. (Rev 19:11)

8. Jesus, Our Marvelous Comrade as our ‘Enjoying the Day' Friend! 
Marvelous Comrades lead you into discovering God in all of life! 
Every activity is an invitation to encounter God!
Jesus gives us an abundant life that is full! (John 10:10) 
Jesus went about doing good and enjoying the day! (Acts 10:38)
