The Be You Room
In the Be You Room, Corner 4, we experience correction from the One who loves us most. He is firm but gentle in the ways He leads us.
One of the hardest things to do is to identify areas within ourselves that are not in line with who He made us to be. Jesus helps us identify these places of inner growth and humbles us with His loving corrections.
He does not accuse or condemn us.
"...There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus..."
He understands us perfectly, including the weaknesses which beset us, and desires to make us whole in His love. He doesn't just understand from afar, but identifies with us in our hardest points.
For this reason He had to be made like them,
fully human in every way, in order that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God...
Because He himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted.
Ask Jesus what He would like to change about you, in order to be the best you possible. Ask for His thoughts and feelings. Remember that God's thoughts towards you are always good, even in correction.
A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out...
